Clinical Counsellor

Marnie Venema
Beginning counselling takes courage, and my hope is to offer a safe space where you feel seen, understood, and supported. I believe in the innate goodness of people and their natural capacity to heal and grow.
My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in attachment and neurobiology. I draw on training in Somatic Attachment Psychotherapy and Existential Analysis to support each person’s unique path.
I work with clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Together, we move toward clarity, compassion, and wholeness.
Outside the office, I’m a wife, mom of two, and golden retriever lover who enjoys family, music, nature, and a good cup of tea.
